A Passion for... Polka Dots

9:15 PM

Hello everyone, I'm still inspired by the one or the other challenge and A Passion for Papertrey's long cards theme... So how about combining their current challenge - polka dots - with the long format of the last challenge?

Here's the back of my project - you can see it's actually not a card but an envelope. I used it to wrap a gift card for a friend's wedding anniversary as the gift card itself came in a plain white envie - not so pretty, right?

Oh, if you are quick, I encourage you to hop over to the A Passion for Papertrey blog and participate in the current polka dot challenge right now. You can win this year's beautiful PTI Anniversary Set 'Round and Round' (I used one of its image on my little project above)!

Supplies
Stamps: PTI Round & Round
Ink: Versacolor chestnut, Colorbox silver
Cardstock: PTI kraft, cream and scarlet jewel
Patterned Paper: Pink Paislee Sweet Cakes Collection
Other: sewing machine / thread, Martha Stewart Daisy Lace, Ranger Perfect Pearls, Acrylic Paint white, Spellbinders Nestabilities, PTI Impression Plate (In Bloom), EK Success 3/4 and 1 3/4 circle punch, Rayher rhinestones clear (5 mm), PTI rustic jute twine, orange brads from stash

  5. You have definitely prettied up that gift card!! :> Love the punched flap's edging and that you used a bit, reversed, for some lace trim on the front!

We're on a three day holiday weekend (Labor Day) in the States, so I'm enjoying three whole days of no early alarm clock and time with the family. Hope your weekend was great and that your week is off to a great start, Dana! :>

  6. Heyyy, ich hab Post bekommen!! Supercool, tausend Dank!!
