PTI Blog Hop May | Flowers

"May is the month when many flowers finally go into full bloom after a long winter's sleep. For the blog hop this month we want to see your favorite take on flowers."

Flowers... they actually make me think of my mum. She loves flowers, grows them all around the house. Of course when her birthday came up recently, I just HAD to integrate a flower into her birthday gift ... or rather say the packaging of it b/c we can't bring her flowers over and over again, right? So, this is how I wrapped her theater cards:

Here's a detail shot of the flower where you can also see a bit of the flap, shaped with my beloved edger dies :)

Uhum... and no she didn't find the big numbers on there all to funny, ha! Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and happy hopping :)

Pinspiration

Hi there and happy Sunday to you! Today, I have a little something to share with you that is not a card. Actually, I don't know what it really is but - in honor of the latest Pinterest craze - I like to call it my "pinspiration". First, because it was inspired by some of Christine Middlecamp's creations that I found on Pinterest (of course). The other reason is that I pinned it onto my new office's boring grey wall so I have a little something to look at every time I am in desperate need of a little happiness (or is it -mess?).

What do you think? Pink and red - crazy colors, I know :)

Birthday Banners

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day weekend! I really enjoy the sunshiny weather around here. It almost feels like summer :) Also, I'm really happy to report that my friend was released from hospital and everything looks fine for her and the baby. {Put in a big relieved sigh here!}

As for my card today, this is what Nina's birthday card looked this year. Yep, jumping on the banner bandwagon, if only "a bit" late.

The really cool thing is: the card was featured on Northridge Publishing's CREATE blog for their hand-stitching challenge. YAY!

Damask Bliss

Hi everyone! I will keep it short today b/c I want to squeeze in a visit at the hospital this morning. A very good friend called me this week that the little person inside her preggo belly causes her to stay there for a week as some results from the latest checkup were (not super critical but also) not ideal. I've already been there to cheer her up a bit and, fortunately, up to now everything looks okay. Let's cross fingers it stays that way!

Now, on to the card for today. Apparently I'm a bit late to join the "Royal Wedding Celebration" Challenge over at A Passion for Papertrey but I will show you the card anyway.

As CAS as it is, it took me a whole week to come up with this. Silly, I know... but this is what happens when Mojo strikes - not! Have a fabulous day :)
