Happy Wedding Day

How many techniques can you use on a single card? Say dry embossing, die-cutting, digital die-cutting, sewing, splattering paint on, using a typewriter ... oh, and zero stamps. Phewwh! The outcome? A wedding card, I was commissioned to make for the marriage of an oenologist - using some cork was kind of mandatory here, right?

Their wedding colors are all natural -  cream with tiny wood fibers and gold - so these were exactly the colors I used on the card. Also, since damask is just about perfect for a wedding card (and the Damask & Brocade challenge in the Moxie Fab World *wink*), I used my impression plate on the cream panel for some more texture.

Other: Papertrey Ink Mat Stack dies and Impression Plate (damask), typewriter, cork sheet, sewing machine, Silhouette Cameo, Studio Calico Mister Huey Gold, foam dots
